Was Salo's embedded all-purpose content expert for more than six years

Salo was an up-and-coming nationwide talent agency that focused on senior finance and HR consultants. During the time Melissa worked with Salo leads from marketing increased by 90%.

 

For more than six years, Melissa partnered with Salo's marketing team to: 

  • Create/update the content strategy, content plan, and measurement KPIs

  • Establish the brand voice and style guide 

  • Design the website information architecture

  • Develop campaigns/email marketing

  • Build a webinar program

  • Write hundreds of pieces of content on talent topics

  • Produced executive and internal communications

She also researched and created several white papers and reports, including Salo’s “Guide to a People-first Workplace” which became a pillar of the company's workplace philosophy.

Then Salo caught the eye of a bigger talent firm and was recently acquired by Korn Ferry. Melissa helped with the transition team to incorporate the Salo brand voice into the new company and develop web pages for key Salo services.
